<\/p>\nOur association was founded in 1992 to support people in need during the Balkan wars.<\/p>\n
When it became clear in 2014 that more and more refugees were coming to Europe, the \u201cRound Table\/Working Group on Refugees\u201d initiative came into being. In order to give our activities an organizational basis, the association was reactivated.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
“Menschen Helfen e.V.” is based in Kierspe, is recognized as a charitable organization and is funded by the Ministry for Children, Family, Refugees and Integration of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia.<\/p>\n
The association is financed by membership fees and donations. Of course, he is entitled to issue donation receipts.<\/p>\n
Donate well-preserved furniture and household items that we can use to equip apartments for refugees.<\/p>\n
We are also happy to take over bicycles that are repaired as in our workshop. They enable people to be more mobile.<\/p>\n
Monetary donations are also needed because we incur costs at various points. We appreciate any amount that is made available to us.<\/p>\n
There are many ways to get involved with us! Depending on your time, skills and interest, you can<\/p>\n
Talk to us – we look forward to any kind of support!<\/p>\n
There are also people in our city who need help – whether they are refugees from crisis areas or fellow citizens in need. We want to help them with words and deeds to solve their problems.<\/p>\n
We hope that this will not only happen for those in need, but if possible together with them in order to promote human interaction.<\/p>\n
